Does the QR code expire?

The static QR image has no built-in expiry. If you later change the Wi-Fi name or password, create and print a new code.

Is the password hidden inside the QR?

It is encoded in the QR pattern rather than printed as plain text, but a person with a suitable scanner may still be able to read the encoded data. Treat the code like the password itself.
