Quick answers

What is a static QR code?

A static QR code stores the destination directly in the QR pattern.

The standard codes generated here do not depend on a Damocrane redirect or an ongoing QR subscription. Once you download and print the QR image, it continues to encode the same URL or text.

Do free QR codes expire?

The QR image itself has no built-in expiry date. A URL QR will keep pointing to the same URL, although the page at that URL can of course be moved, deleted or changed later.

How do I create a QR code?

Enter a URL or text above, select the optional logo if you want branding, generate the code, test it with a phone and download the PNG before printing.
